TOPOSOPHY is proud to be behind a major new report on tourism and urban development in the city of Edinburgh. Looking at subjects as diverse as urban mobility, energy use, hotel development and overseas market forecasts, our study Setting the Scene builds a comprehensive picture of the issues that Edinburgh can expect to face over the coming decade as the city expands and finds ways to manage its status as a thriving destination.

The research process dealt with more than 200 documents submitted by the partner agencies to this project: The City of Edinburgh Council, the Data Driven Innovation Programme Team, Edinburgh Tourism Action Group, Marketing Edinburgh, Scottish Enterprise and VisitScotland, as well as our own extensive range of resources on global consumer megatrends and placemaking.
